Recently, TUV SUD issued only its third IEC CTF (Customer Testing Facilities Certificate) to Jiangsu Seraphim Solar System Co., Ltd. (“Seraphim”), a world-class solar product manufacturer well-known in the PV industry for strong R&D.
To complete CTF qualification, an organization is required to meet strict regulations on personnel structure, environmental facilities, document control, sample management, etc. Becoming a valid CTF Laboratory means Seraphim will be listed on the official website of IEC, and its testing results can be directly used in “Certification Body” (“CB”) reports issued by TUV SUD. Furthermore, Seraphim can also internally generate CB testing reports for new products or material introductions from its own laboratory, which greatly reduces the time and energy used on sample transportation—and accelerates new product releases.
“It’s a great honor to be the third IEC-qualified CTF lab. It’s the fifth world-class lab certification we’ve received after CSA, CNAS, CTC and TUV”, said Polaris Li, General Manager of Seraphim. “Seraphim understands that innovation is a vital driver, so we devote ourselves to finding the best path forward. The CTF lab qualification further acknowledges Seraphim’s strength in quality control and testing. In the meantime, the certifications offer immediate benefits to our customers.”
“We are happy to see Seraphim’s continuous progress in R&D”, commented Zhulin Zhang, Operation Director of SMN Business at TUV SUD Greater China. “CTF is an elite certification which only a few applicants acquire. This accreditation testifies to the skilled management and excellent testing capacity of Seraphim.”
